Hello everyone. You’re probably wondering what the hell Questlog is. It’s a place where you can keep track of the games you want to play, are playing, or have finished. You can also write reviews or create your playlists to show the world what your favorite games are.
Questlog is a project I started because I used to keep track of my gaming habits mainly through Excel spreadsheets and lists. As you can probably tell by the alpha label in the header of the website, it’s still a work in progress, and I’m adding new features and fixing bugs as I go.
The philosophy behind Questlog
First of all. I don’t care how many game pages you visit, what playlists you clicked on for the tenth time, or where you clicked on the page. So there is no tracking. Questlog doesn’t store anything it doesn’t need to. No strings attached. We all hate tracking, so why bother you with it?
Questlog is only developed by one person. You can find my personal account Mastodon (@kaiserkiwi) if you want to contact me. So there is no profit organization or anything like that behind Questlog. Just one person who wants to keep track of his gaming stuff and built a service for it.
Questlog is free and will probably always be free. I don’t want to make money with this project. I just want to have a place to keep track of my gaming stuff and maybe help others do the same.
So… You’re probably wondering why this Ko‑fi site exists. Some of you asked for it and wanted to support me. I’m not going to put any Questlog features behind a paywall, so if you want to tip me a coffee, go ahead: Thank you! If not: That’s totally fine. Have fun with Questlog 😊!
Questlog is still in Alpha
As I said, Questlog is still in alpha. This means that a lot of features are still missing and there are still some bugs. If you find a bug or have a feature request, please let me know. It’s impossible for me to find everything on my own and you might have a great idea that I never thought of.
